Mrs. Sally Tishell

Sally is Portwenn’s pharmacist. She’s married to Clive Tishell who works for an oil rig at sea and isn’t home very often. Sally is also an excellent organist and performs at church, including Aunt Joan’s funeral. She has to wear a neck brace due to the fact she suffers from twisted neck syndrome or torticollis. Mrs. Tishell has also been attracted to Doc Martin since they first met, but Martin has never noticed her affections.
Selina Cadell is an English actress. She is the sister of the late actor Simon Cadell and granddaughter of the actress Jean Cadell.
Cadell has been appearing on British television, film, and theatre over the last thirty years. She has taken on a wide range of supporting and lead roles. Recently she has played Dorothy Crowther in The Amazing Mrs Pritchard, Mrs. Tishell in Doc Martin, and the Dean Mieke Miedema in Lab Rats. She is currently appearing in Sam Mendes' Broadway production of Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard, after playing Maria in Mendes' highly acclaimed production of Twelfth Night for the Donmar Warehouse (London and New York).
